Viking Classics: 50 Convertible
2009–13
A proven tournament winner, this popular midsize convertible made good on the Viking promise of world-class styling and performance.

INTERIOR
The spacious salon/galley/dinette area of the 50 Convertible features a clever stand-alone island counter with two bar stools.

Overview: The gorgeous styling of the Viking 50 Convertible went a long way toward making this midsize battlewagon the top selling boat in her class for several years. Boasting a spacious three stateroom interior with two full heads, the 50C offers a level of luxury and comfort seldom encountered in a sportfishing yacht this size. Entering the salon through an electric door, the accommodations are highlighted by a beautifully appointed salon/dinette/galley area with sectional lounge seating aft and an innovative L-shaped galley forward complete with an island counter and two bar stools. Below, the standard layout consists of an amidships master suite with a queen-size island berth. Both guest cabins are fitted with upper and lower berths. Note the washer/dryer in the amidships guest stateroom. The cockpit will accommodate a full-size fighting chair. A freezer under the mezzanine seat has a divider for food and bait storage and either of the two in-deck storage boxes can be configured as livewells. A transom door with a lift gate is standard and a teak cockpit sole and covering boards were popular options.
Power: MAN 1,350hp 12 cylinder diesels cruise at 33–34 knots (high 30s top).
