"As Carver continues to up its game and introduce new models, we’re left to seriously reconsider our old opinions of Carver models long gone by. The C52 Coupe is an excellent example of the revival underway at Carver. We can’t wait to see what they do next."

"With maple floors, black-cherry cabinets and windows all around, the C52 Coupe begins to feel more like a waterfront apartment than a yacht. "

–Yachting Magazine

"Carver’s focus on the unique—from profile to running surfaces, from leading-edge construction to living areas to please both existing owners and the next generation—seems to be a leap forward.

–Power & Motoryacht

INTRODUCED IN 2016, the Carver C52 Coupe (and her flybridge cousin, the C52 Command Bridge) was a fairly bold design for Carver Yachts, a company long known for its conservative styling. It's rare to see a plumb bow in a modern motoryacht; that—together with the C52's very high freeboard—results in a midsize cruiser with the interior volume of a larger boat. With three staterooms and two full heads, the spacious layout rivals any boat in its class for luxury and amenities. The galley is aft, just inside the sliding glass doors that separate the cockpit from the interior. A unique feature of the C52 is the private staircase across from the galley leading down to the full-beam master stateroom. The VIP stateroom in the bow and the second guest stateroom to starboard are both accessed from the pilothouse. Molded steps to starboard in the cockpit provide easy access to the flybridge. The added volume in the C52 is evident in the engine room where service is excellent on both sides of each engine. Built on a fully cored resin infused hull, twin 600hp Cummins diesels cruise the C52 Coupe at 25–26 knots (about 30 knots top).

"The 50 Coupe delivers a confident ride, construction that inspires confidence, and the assurance that comes from a boatbuilder willing to change with the times but averse to give up the core attributes that demand respect."

"Tiara's new express coupe is designed to take on all comers in the 50' hardtop express cruiser class -- whether they are from the U.S. or Europe."

–BoatTest.com

"At first glance the Tiara 50 Coupe may seem like a bold step from a traditionally conservative builder. But Tiara has done its homework and has maintained its focus on delivering the high quality yacht its customers expect."

TIARA LAUNCHED the 50 Coupe in 2014 as the first in a new series of luxury hardtop cruisers. The design was a departure from the the company's normally conservative styling and it wasn't long before the innovative aft galley interior was duplicated by numerous other boats. The 53 Coupe (introduced in 2017) is an evolution of the original 50 Coupe with an extended hull and a redesigned salon. Notably, the lengthened hull of the 53 provides space forward of the engines for a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer system. The accommodations are the same in both boats — a two-stateroom, two-head layout that includes a full beam master with a double berth, settee, large hull windows and private ensuite head with shower. The queen-size pedestal berth in the forward stateroom splits to create twin beds. A walk-in utility room to port (or optional third cabin) houses a stacked washer/dryer. An electric sunroof over the helm area provides ventilation. The Tiara's large cockpit has an electrically actuated dining settee, aft bench seat, and port/starboard aft-facing seats. A 70" hydraulic swim platform is a popular option. Volvo 725hp IPS950 pod drive diesels cruise at 25 knots (low 30s top).
